Virgin match Sky+ HD with V+ HD for £49
Wednesday, March 18th 2009
Virgin Media have cut the installation price for their V+ HD service to just £49 when you take their TV XL package. Sky last month reduced the cost of their Sky+ HD box to £49 including installation when taking the HD pack. V+ HD lets you pause, rewind and record live TV and record two shows while watching a third which Virgin Media claim is better than Sky+. Virgin TV XL requires no additional monthly subscription to receive V+ HD. Let's hope that Virgin's price reduction sparks a price war between the two companies. The offer ends 31st March 2009.
