Does Virgin Media offer the best broadband bundles?Thursday, January 14th 2010 New research from Cable.co.uk suggests Virgin Media offers two of the most popular broadband, home phone and digital TV bundles in the UK. Virgin Media's range of digital TV, broadband and home phone services are proving popular with consumers, according to new research from Cable.co.uk.
The comparison website has revealed that two of the fibre optic cable broadband providers' leading packages have been the most popular deals among its consumers in recent times.
So why are the deals proving so popular? One of the deals is the company's Best Value Bundle, which is available for £18 a month and includes 10Mbps broadband, home phone and digital TV services featuring up to 60 channels such as Sky 1, Living and Bravo.
Cable.co.uk is currently offering two months of free service on the bundle, as well as free installation worth £35, when people sign up online.
The other popular deal as present is Virgin Media's L broadband package, which includes speeds of 10Mbps and unlimited downloads, as well as a free wireless router.
Discussing the deals, Paul France, director of Cable.co.uk, said: "Consumers either want to spend their money on getting all their services from Virgin Media, which includes broadband, TV and phone, or simply buy its no-frills broadband package in order to benefit from instant high-speed broadband."
