Does Virgin Media offer the best broadband bundles?
Virgin Media's range of digital TV, broadband and home phone services are proving popular with consumers, according to new research from Cable.co.uk.

The comparison website has revealed that two of the fibre optic cable broadband providers' leading packages have been the most popular deals among its consumers in recent times.

So why are the deals proving so popular? One of the deals is the company's Best Value Bundle, which is available for £18 a month and includes 10Mbps broadband, home phone and digital TV services featuring up to 60 channels such as Sky 1, Living and Bravo.

Cable.co.uk is currently offering two months of free service on the bundle, as well as free installation worth £35, when people sign up online.

The other popular deal as present is Virgin Media's L broadband package, which includes speeds of 10Mbps and unlimited downloads, as well as a free wireless router.

Discussing the deals, Paul France, director of Cable.co.uk, said: "Consumers either want to spend their money on getting all their services from Virgin Media, which includes broadband, TV and phone, or simply buy its no-frills broadband package in order to benefit from instant high-speed broadband."

Hello Dave. All prices are exclusive of line rental. This is so that you can compare like for like. Virgin phone line rental is £11 per month on top of the package price. So the total price would be £29 per month but you wouldn't be paying BT a line rental of £11.54. Nearly all packages require a line rental of some sort whether it's BT or Virgin. Virgin do offer broadband without a phone line. Hope this make sense. Cable UK.

Pardon my ignorance but the Virgin bundles are confusing-I cannot mke out whether the "Line Rental" fee is included in the "Bundle " price or is additional I.E " Best Value"- is this £18 or £18 plus "Line Rental"? Are all other packages the same?
