Getting the best price for your BT home phone deal

BT is making changes to the price of its home phone services. How will the company's subscribers be affected?
All broadband bundle subscribers are keen on getting the best value for money but, due to the recession, the need for providers to balance the books means that some are facing price increases.BT is one such example. Fresh from launching new TV packages offering Sky Sports channels, the company is set to up its call and line rental prices from the start of October. Line rental will rise to £12.04, while the price of ringing both friends and family is set to increase by up to ten per cent.
However, there may be some respite for BT customers willing to commit long-term to the company's range of packages.
Bundle customers could be among those that benefit the most, with plans in place to ensure that those who sign up for all-inclusive packages get some of the best prices available.
In addition, people may have the chance to avoid some price rises by paying for a year's line rental upfront ahead of the increase.
So, it seems that, as in many cases, bundling could be the key for consumers committed to getting value for money and enjoying the best home prices available.
