Value from O2 and Sky means high UK bundle uptake is no shock

Following European research on the adoption of bundled deals, we've had a look at some of the best offers currently available on these packages.
Us Brits are ahead of our European counterparts when it comes to signing up for bundles of broadband, digital TV and landline.European Commission research discovered 38 per cent of households across the continent are subscribed to a package comprising two or more of these services.
While that's a pretty substantial amount, it pales in comparison to the 50 per cent of homes in the UK that Ofcom found have taken advantage of these offers.
It came as little surprise to us that bundled deals are so prevalent in the UK, given the value offered by some of the country's biggest providers.
What's more, there really is a package to suit every need, depending on which of the communications services you feel are most important.
If it's pay TV that you're after then it's hard to look beyond Sky+HD with Sky World, which comes with premium packages such as Sky Sports and Sky Movies, plus all six basic TV packs.
This deal also allows you to watch your favourite programmes in high definition, or - if you've got a compatible TV set - even in 3D. Free up to 20Mb/s broadband and evening and weekend home phone calls are also included for a price of £61 per month.
Alternatively, if you're more concerned about your broadband connection we'd recommend opting for O2's The All Rounder + Calls bundle.
For just £21.50 per month, you'll get unlimited broadband - subject to O2's fair usage policy - with download speeds of up to 20Mb/s, plus uncapped landline calls at off-peak times.
