Sky Sports 1 or 2 when purchased with all 6 Entertainment Packs which Sky TV offer will cost you £31.50 per month. With only one Entertainment Pack either Sky Sports 1 or 2 will cost you £27.50 per month. The Sky Sports Pack when purchased with all 6 Entertainment packs costs £39.50 per month, and £35.50 per month when purchased with only 1 Entertainment Pack - so you can save money by tailoring the right channels for your needs.

At the moment, Sky are offering their Variety Entertainment Pack, all the Live action through their Sky Sports Pack, plus Sky Talk Freetime (free evening and weekend calls) and Sky Broadband Base (2GB download limit per month and 2MB download speeds) for £35.50 a month, including a free standard Sky Box (which costs £15 to install for new customers).

Another offer currently being promoted by Sky is that you can purchase 2 of their Entertainment Packs, the Sports Pack, a Sky+ HD box for an additional £49 (plus a £30 installation fee for new customers) when joining Sky TV with the HD Pack (an additional £9.75 per month), and the Sky Broadband Base and Sky Talk Freetime both explained above for £46.25 per month. Existing customers can add Sky Sports 1 or 2 to their existing package with Sky for an additional £11 per month, or the Sports Pack for an extra £19 a month.

To celebrate the Ashes this summer, Sky are offering their existing and new Sports Pack customers free access to Sky Sports channels online throughout July and August.

Sky then offer a choice of 3 different boxes. Both their Standard Sky Box and Sky+ Box are free to new customers, although their standard box costs £15 to install and the Sky+ box £30 to install. The Sky +HD box is available to new customers for £49 plus an additional £30 for installation.

The Sky+ Box enables users to record, pause and rewind live television. The Sky+HD box improves picture detail by up to 4 times and makes colours much more vibrant than they would appear on a normal TV. Sky Multi-room can also be added to the package for an additional £9.75 a month if you wish to have Sky in an additional room.
