Sky Talk Packages Explained

Sky Talk offers a huge range of great savings on both your phone calls and line rentals with inclusive free calls within the UK. Exclusively offered to Sky Digital TV Customers, the Sky Talk package was a major winner at the uSwitch customer satisfaction awards after scoring a high score of 8 out of 11 in 2008, which includes being presented with "The Best Deal For You" award.

There are a variety of packages that can suit everyone and anyone from having either Free Evening And Weekend calls or having Unlimited Calls at any time. You can still have your line rental with BT if you so wish, but with the recent change in BT OpenReach conditions and the opening up of the exchange for other rival telephone operators, line rental can now be charged by other companies - and most of the time with cheaper rates!

Sky is now inclusive of Sky Line Rental on some packages, and this may seem to be a more value for money option since line rental with Sky is cheaper than its BT rivals. Here is a quick summary of what Sky Talk packages that you can have.

If you mostly use your phone in the evenings and weekends, then choosing the Evening and Weekend Calls option would be the best bet for you, as you can enjoy your DayTime calls for a low cost of just 4.6p a minute, have free unlimited calls in the UK (01, 02, 03 numbers only) during evenings and weekends and also have excellent value for both International and UK Mobile Phone calls.

If you want the freedom to chat whenever you want, as much as you like, then unlimited calls would be the best option allowing you to talk up to an hour at a time, with unlimited calls in the UK (01, 02, 03 numbers only) at any time of the day or night, as well as the ability to call Internationally to 20 popular international destination at no extra cost to you at all. Also they offer great rates on calls to mobile phones in the UK with their unlimited call package.

So why does having your line rental switched over from your current telephone provider seem to be a better option for you? With more savings of up to £2.50 a month in comparison to BT, and with free services such as 141 number withheld, 1471 caller identified, 1470 automatic number withheld and the 1475 option to remove the last caller from the 1471 list, why not save more money? All this and the convenience of having one bill instead of two bills, added VAT on both, and no savings!

With the added convenience of having nothing to connect, no wait for the engineer to change your line or even change anything physically in the house - since everything involves a simple change from the telephone exchange, things cannot be any simpler for the consumer to switch to Sky Talk - and save themselves a bundle. So why not save with a Sky Talk package, today, and have more money kept in your pocket for other means!
