Unlimited broadband

The term ‘unlimited broadband’ is used by many broadband providers and generally means an unlimited usage of their services with a fixed monthly cost. This can sometimes be misleading as providers have a fair usage policy. This policy usually indicates that excessive usage is not fair and you could be blocked from further downloads. You should always read the terms and conditions before you enter into a contract.

Is unlimited broadband for me?

That depends on how you use the internet. If your usage is generally reading e-mail and browsing the internet, it would be cheaper to choose a service with a download limit. If you use the internet for downloading music, videos, games or online gaming, unlimited broadband may be a better option.
