3 reveals iPod touch and MiFi broadband offerFriday, November 27th 2009 Leading broadband provider 3 is now offering its MiFi service with an iPod touch for £23 a month. Broadband provider 3 is looking to up interest in its MiFi service by teaming it up with the iPod touch as part of a new offer.
Consumers can now get their hands on the portable media player and the company's mobile Wi-Fi services for £23 a month on a two-year deal.
Under the terms of the deal, subscribers get a 5GB data allowance that they could use to enjoy up to 72 hours of browsing or to download up to 800 tracks.
According to Charlotte Blanchard, director of products and services at 3, the iPod touch's Wi-Fi capabilities are often not used due to a lack of hotspots in the UK.
She added: "Now with MiFi on 3, iPod touch users can get wireless internet whenever they want on the network that's designed and built for the mobile internet."
3 recently launched two new price plans for its MiFi service in an effort to boost its profile in the run-up to Christmas.
