AOL launches new homepage
One of the UK's leading broadband providers has launched the beta version of its homepage.
A new beta homepage has been launched by leading home broadband provider AOL.

The company's new homepage is designed to allow consumers straightforward access to a number of email accounts, as well as a range of social networking services, from one destination.

It is also part of AOL publishing company Mediaglow's efforts to expand the brand globally and boost consumer use of the website.

Bill Wilson, president of MediaGlow, said: "Today's beta launch of the new AOL UK portal builds on the tremendous success we've experienced in the US offering consumers more choice and customisation.

"For the advertising community, it means even greater reach and relevancy for campaigns aimed at audiences across a wealth of rich media content and channels already available across AOL."

AOL is one of the UK's largest internet providers and has around 1.7 million customers.
