Broadband provider AOL is preparing to launch a new logo designed to better reflect its brand identity.
AOL is giving itself a makeover by launching a new logo and brand identity next month, it has been announced.

The broadband provider has revealed that its new look, which is expected to be fully unveiled as it makes its debut on the New York Stock Exchange on December 10th, will include the use of a new Aol. logo.

According to the company, the new design reflects its identity as an independent company that creates "the world's most simple and stimulating content and online experiences".

Tim Armstrong, chairman and chief executive officer of AOL, said the identity is "uniquely dynamic".

"We have a clear strategy that we are passionate about and we plan on standing behind the AOL brand as we take the company into the next decade," he added.

Details of the company's makeover have come after AOL reecntly launched its new flagship music site Spinner in the UK.

The website includes exclusive videos and performances by a number of top artists.
