
Subscribers to BT's Total Broadband bundles now have unlimited access to the provider's range of Wi-Fi hotspots.
People who subscribe to BT's Total Broadband bundles can now enjoy unlimited access to 1.5 million Wi-Fi hotspots in the UK.The company has confirmed that the limits on Wi-Fi minutes previously placed on the deals have now been removed to ensure consumers with smartphones, laptops and iPads can get online when they need to.
BT is to support the changes to its deals by unveiling a new downloadable application designed to make locating such hotspots easier.
John Petter, consumer managing director for BT Retail, said the firm hopes to have over 2.5 million up and running by the end of 2011.
He added: "This continuing level of expansion means that these networks are rapidly becoming the simplest way for people to access the internet when out and about."
