CLA backs BBC survey
Findings included in a recent report by the BBC have been welcomed by the Country Land & Business Association.
Research that revealed many homes across the UK do not have access to quality broadband speeds has been welcomed.

The Country Land & Business Association (CLA) has claimed the BBC's study, which found three million homes in the UK have speeds less than 2Mbps, confirms what it has been saying in recent weeks.

Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, president of the body, said the findings "cannot be ignored".

"We have had people up and down the country respond to a call we put out to come forward if you receive slow broadband or no broadband at all," he explained.

"This is a serious issue when fast broadband can be the make or break for a rural business."

At the start of this month, the CLA launched a new service which allows members to receive satellite broadband via Eurosat.
