Easel TV to support latest phase of Virgin Media TiVo integration

Easel TV will continue to take responsibility for the incorporation of TiVo on the Virgin Media platform for the third successive product integration phase.
Connected TV specialist Easel TV has enjoyed a two-and-a-half year relationship with TiVo, helping to integrate the necessary software into Virgin Media's next-generation entertainment proposition.
The company has been a part of all three Virgin Media TiVo product releases, the latest of which will see the introduction of Reminders, reports Advanced Television.
This feature will automatically record a show, even if viewers miss the on-screen reminder pop-up.
Additional updates in the third phase include greater flexibility in managing Wishlists and series recording links, as well as the integration of search functionality for BBC iPlayer, quicker access to playing catch-up content and general stability improvements.
Joshua Danovitz, vice president of TiVo International, said: "I am delighted with the continued support that Easel TV provides in our important relationship with Virgin Media in the UK."
More than a million households have so far signed up for Virgin Media's TiVo service, with 261,700 subscribing in the three months to June 30th 2012 alone.
At the end of the last quarter, TiVo subscribers represented 25 per cent of Virgin Media's TV customer base.
