O2 launches new mobile broadband laptop packagesThursday, November 19th 2009 Mobile broadband provider O2 has announced the launch of new laptop and internet bundles. Broadband provider O2 has launched two new deals offering both a laptop and mobile internet services.
The Asus Eee PC 1005H and the Samsung R519 have been added to its range of broadband laptop deals.
According to the company, the former which includes a 160GB hard drive and 10.2-inch display is available with mobile broadband speeds of 3.6Mbps and a 3GB data allowance for £24.48 a month.
In addition, the Samsung model includes a 15.6-inch display, an Intel Pentium dual core processor and a 250GB hard drive, while it is available with the same internet services for £34.26 a month.
Both are available on a two-year contract from the broadband provider.
O2 recently announced that it is planning to make a series of improvements to its Home Broadband Access Network.
It has launched a traffic management system on the infrastructure, while it is also working on a permanent fix to congestion at peak times.
