O2 scoops double ISPA award
Broadband provider O2 took home two awards at the UK Internet Industry Awards last night (July 9th).
O2 was the biggest winner at the UK Internet Industry Awards in London last night (July 9th), taking home two prizes from the event.

The internet service provider claimed the best consumer fixed broadband service award at the event, which took place at the Grosvenor Marriott Hotel, as well as the best customer service gong.

Of the UK's other major firms, only Vodafone was also awarded a prize – for the best consumer mobile broadband.

Small providers such as UK Fast, Exa Networks, Namesco and AQL also took home awards, while the Featured Artists Coalition – which has campaigned over music piracy – was named the Internet Hero at the event.

News of the double win for O2 has come after the company revealed that its customers now have access to BT Openzone Wi-Fi hotspots for the first time.
