Sky boosts customer service with new call centre
Broadband provider Sky has revealed it is to boost the service available to customers by opening a new contact centre in Stockport.
Broadband, home phone and digital TV provider Sky is set to open a new call centre in Stockport, it has been revealed.

The company has announced that the site will be launched in June and is set to create more 550 jobs in the Greater Manchester areas.

Demand for its broadband bundles has been linked with the decision to open the new site.

Chris Stylianou, who runs Sky's customer centres across the UK, said the company was excited about "finding a new home in Stockport".

He added: "We look forward to recruiting a great team here in Stockport and to making a real contribution to the local community."

Details of the call centre launch have come after Sky revealed it is looking to create a new marketing campaign to promote its broadband services.

Campaign reports that the firm is seeking a new agency to develop promotions for a major marketing push.
