Sky Go scoops T3's digital media service award

Sky Go has been named the digital media service of the year at the 2012 T3 Magazine technology awards.
The multiscreen service, which allows customers to view hundreds of hours of live and on-demand TV from 32 channels, was praised for its easy-to-use electronic programme guide and quality streaming.
T3 Magazine commented: "Sky Go has, in the year since its release, become an essential part of a lot of Sky lovers' lives."
An array of entertainment, sport and movie content is available via Sky Go, which can be accessed on a range of devices, including iPad, iPhone and selected Android smartphones.
This accolade caps an impressive last few weeks for Sky Go, which achieved record-breaking usage figures during Europe's victory over the US in the Ryder Cup.
Some 700,000 people followed the golfing action via Sky Go, with the audience peaking at 200,000 on the final night as Europe completed a dramatic comeback.
A total of 2.7 million users accessed the service between April and June.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky's brand director for TV products, said: "We look forward to continuing our leadership in creating great experiences for our customers on mobile devices."
