Sky names LivePerson its online business partner of the year
LivePerson has been named the online business partner of the year of broadband provider Sky.
Broadband provider Sky has named LivePerson its online business partner of the year.

The company, which also offers digital TV and home phone services, gave the award to the online engagement solutions provider during its annual Shine Sky Awards ceremony in Wales.

It has been claimed that LivePerson is responsible for boosting Sky's online services and helping to improve its conversion rates.

Sky's director of customer growth and sales, John Orriss, said the company was "pleased" to praise the company.

"The LivePerson programme is key to our efforts to continually optimise customer journeys and online conversion and as such this award is well deserved," he added.

In its trading update for the three months ended September 30th, Sky revealed that its customer growth accelerated over the period with net additions of 94,000.

The company claimed the figure means its services are now used by over 9.5 million households in the UK.

LivePerson is the partner of the year? Funny, considering I have a dispute with Sky at the moment, as one of the agents on LivePerson lied to me about the package I choose - Even though I have screenshot evidence of the agent telling me lies, and on two separate occasions, they will not take it as evidence.
