Sky plans new broadband advertising campaign
Broadband provider Sky has announced it is seeking a new partner to develop a marketing campaign.
Bundle provider Sky is looking to launch a new marketing campaign to promote its broadband services.

Campaign reports that the company is seeking a new agency to develop promotions which will play a part in a major marketing push that is set to begin later this year.

The campaign will be key to boosting the firm's subscriber figures, which were up by 101,000 during the final three months of 2009.

Sky already works with the likes of WCRS, Brothers and Sisters and AKQA on advertising campaigns, which have recently seen the firm focus on its offer of a free Sky+HD set-top box to new and existing customers.

The company is also set to launch Europe's first dedicated 3D TV channel in April.

Sky previewed the service at the end of last month with a special broadcast of a Premier League match and intends to make it widely available when 3D-ready TVs reach the consumer market.
