The company, which also offers digital TV packages, has revealed that its new Sky Unlimited offers up to 20Mbps broadband and unlimited downloads for £7.50 a month when bought with home phone services.
In addition, the Everyday Lite package, which offers the same broadband services with a 2GB monthly allowance, is available for free when taken with Sky Talk.
Both the Unlimited and Everyday Lite deals include a Sky wireless router, 24-7 technical support and free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines when taken with the home phone deals.
Without Sky Talk, the Everyday Lite and Unlimited packages cost £5 and £12.50 a month respectively.
Rival broadband provider TalkTalk recently announced the launch of its own new deal, which allows subscribers to enjoy 12 months of its broadband and home phone services for free. |
Broadband provider Be has announced plans to launch a new reward scheme for customers who recommend its service to their friends and family. Subscribers to Sky's high-definition packages can now watch programmes such as Britain's Next Top Model with a sharper picture quality. Consumers are throwing away more than £2 million per day on broadband packages that do not suit their needs, according to O2. | Former communications minister Lord Carter has criticised the government's decision to delay the universal broadband target to 2015. Sophie Turner Laing of Sky believes many of its customers now demand high-definition TV "as standard". Traditional broadband connections will not be replaced by mobile internet in the short term, it has been claimed. |
