Starbucks offers loyal customers free BT Wi-Fi
A leading UK coffee chain is offering free BT Wi-Fi access as part of its loyalty card scheme.
Starbucks has announced it is offering customers participating in its loyalty card scheme free Wi-Fi broadband access at its coffee houses.

The chain has revealed that those who sign up to the Starbucks Cards Rewards programme will be allowed free access to BT Openzone services at over 650 outlets across the UK and Ireland.

BT's business and home broadband customers with inclusive Wi-Fi minutes can already enjoy the service at Starbucks as part of their existing deals.

Chris Bruce, chief executive officer of BT Openzone, said: "Starbucks is giving more customers access to a great place to work or catch up over email.

"The agreement marries excellent in-store Wi-Fi with the highest quality coffee."

BT claimed last month that it now has half a million Openzone Wi-Fi hotspots operating throughout the UK and Ireland.
