Hit US sports show Monday Night Football will get its UK debut next week.
BT Vision, Sky and Virgin Media customers signed up for ESPN will have the opportunity to watch the UK debut of hit show Monday Night Football (MNF).

The longest-running primetime sports show ever in the US will hit British screens for the first time on September 13th 2010 with a special two-hour preview programme - Monday Night Countdown (MNC) - reports Digital Spy.

Following this introductory screening, the clash between the New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens, and the Kansas City Chiefs versus the San Diego Chargers, will be broadcast.

MNC will be shown for 90 minutes each Monday throughout the rest of the season and will be anchored by Chris Berman, with Cris Carter, Mike Ditka, Keyshawn Johnson and Tom Jackson all providing expert analysis.

ABC aired 555 matches as parts of its MNF coverage between 1970 and 2005, after which the programme was switched to ESPN.

Both broadcasters are owned by The Walt Disney Company.
