The new Classic Collection broadband, TV and landline bundle has been unveiled by Virgin Media.

Virgin Media has unveiled its new Classic Collection digital services bundle, featuring TiVo, super-fast broadband and unlimited weekend home phone calls.

The package is the latest addition to the cable company's proposition range, which already includes the Essential, Premiere and VIP collections. Virgin claims to offer options for families to suit all budgets.

Described by the provider as the "perfect TV companion", TiVo automatically records shows based on what a viewer has watched in the past and boasts a unique 'Thumbs' rating feature that allows customers to find content to suit their tastes.

The fibre optic broadband connection delivers speeds of up to 30Mbps, while the home phone service includes free calls to other UK landlines, 0870 numbers and Virgin Mobile customers every Saturday and Sunday.

Andrew Barron, chief operating officer at Virgin Media, said: "The success of our Collections to date is testament to the growing mainstream demand for super-fast broadband and next-generation connected television."

During the three months to June 30th 2012, Virgin Media saw its TiVo customer base increase by 261,700 households to 938,800, before going on to surpass one million shortly after.
