Virgin Media offers unlimited mobile web tariff

Virgin Media offers unlimited mobile web tariff
A leading broadband provider has launched a new monthly mobile phone tariff offering unlimited web access.
Mobile phone users can enjoy unlimited internet access through a new monthly tariff launched by broadband provider Virgin Media.

The company's new Unlimited tariff offers people calls to any network, text messages and web access for £65 a month on an 18-month contract.

Handsets including the Nokia N86 and the Samsung Jet are available through the package, with is exclusive to Virgin Media.

Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at the company, said the tariff represents great value.

"The perfect combination for high usage customers who want the best technology available, without paying the earth," he added.

Earlier this week, Virgin Media confirmed that it is now offering ESPN's coverage of the upcoming Premier League season to its digital TV subscribers.

All customers get a chance to sample the new service, which will be available for a small subscription fee, during August.
