Vision TV Network launches for Roku streaming player

The Vision TV Network can now be accessed in broadband households via the Roku streaming player, Vision247 has announced.
By downloading the Vision TV app from the Roku Channel Store, customers will be able to access a host of subscription and free-to-air linear and on-demand content.
Vision TV offers instant access to up to 37 channels of programming from France, Greece, Poland and Turkey, with more countries set to be added in future.
At present, the app features 13 channels apiece from Hellenic TV and Polska Plus, seven from TeleTurk and four from Telefrance.
Clive Hudson, vice president and general manager for Europe at Roku, said the increasing popularity of on-demand TV is encouraging consumers to seek out and stream more content on their household televisions.
"Bringing Vision TV Network to the Roku platform extends Vision247's capability to support international broadcasters and video content owners wishing to extend their reach to new audiences," he added.
Roku streaming players launched in the UK and Ireland in January, having previously been available in the US.
The platform features everything from live and on-demand sports to news and entertainment from the Wall Street Journal, alongside games like Angry Birds.
