The Sky+ HD with Sky World package will appeal to customers who are interested in high-end digital entertainment. In itself, high definition (HD) television can be truly spectacular, although it is important to remember that in order to enjoy a Sky+ HD subscription it is necessary to own or have access to an HD-ready television.

Once Sky+ HD is up and running on a large flat screen television, customers are able to enjoy an altogether different viewing experience. Indeed, television is effectively brought to life with Sky+ HD.

Customers on the Sky+ HD with Sky world package will also enjoy the Sky+ HD box itself, which enables viewers to pause, rewind and record live television. In fact, the Sky+ HD box also allows an entire series to be recorded at the touch of a button, whilst on-demand TV and digital replay are also featured in the package.

Sky+ HD with Sky World customers will receive access to more than 240 free-to-air channels, such as BBC1 and ITV1, in addition to all six Sky Entertainment Packs, which comprise Variety, Knowledge, Style & Culture, News & Events, Childrens' and Music channels.

The Sky+ HD with Sky World package includes two premium subscription channels in the form of Sky Sports and Sky Movies. Naturally, fans of football, rugby, cricket and other major sports will be keen on receiving the Sky Sports Pack, which is filled with live action throughout the year.

Sky Movies features a range of top movies that are constantly updated as new titles are released. In respect to the HD channels, customers who have chosen this package will have access to Discovery HD, Sky Sports HD 1 & 2, Sky Movies Premiere and many others.

In addition to these superb digital entertainment services, Sky+ HD with Sky World includes the Sky Broadband 2Mb package. Featuring a free wireless router that provides secure internet access throughout the home, the Sky Broadband 2Mb package comprises 2Mb download speeds and 400Kb upload speeds, which are sufficient for most purposes.

The 2GB download usage allowance will provide plenty of surfing among other internet related activities such as downloading music files or short movie clips, although this service is not suitable for high traffic users.

Free 12 months online protection with McAfee® Internet Security Suite and 24/7 customer support are notable extras. In respect to the telephone component of the Sky+ HD with Sky World package, customers receive free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines in addition to competitive rates for calls made to international and mobile numbers.
