Virgin Media TV XL deserves to be paired with the V+ HD Box and in this deal that is exactly what's happened. With the standard TV XL package you get 160 channels, but with the addition of the V+ HD Box you can watch several of these in high definition and anyone with an HDTV will want to jump on this bandwagon as soon as possible.

Amongst the standard definition stations on offer are all of the best that Virgin Media can muster. You get Sky 1, 2 and 3, along with multiple MTV music channels, documentaries on Discovery and National Geographic and kids programming on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.

This is on top of all the digital terrestrial channels that you'd expect to find. Sports fans will be able to enjoy ESPN, which has access to live Premier League matches amongst several other popular sporting events and you can use the V+ HD Box to record two programs that are on at the same time while you kick back and watch a third entirely different channel.

This is impressive and means that everyone will be happy even if there's a scheduling conflict.

Most people will be interested in the high definition portion of the TV XL package and the only way to get access is via the V+ HD Box. You can also watch movies from on demand service Picture Box, or choose to rent one of the hundreds of titles that's available to you.
