Broadband deal of the week: BT Infinity 52Mb, £2 off monthly cost and £50 off up-front cost, £100 cashback – Exclusive to Cable.co.uk

Friday, September 1st 2017 by Dan Howdle
It’s rare, but it happens. We’ve wangled the best BT Infinity fibre deal in the UK, and you can only get it through Cable.co.uk. The deal knocks £2 per month off the monthly cost and £50 off the set-up fee, offering a first-year saving of £74 compared to what you will find anywhere else, even directly from BT!

How does this work then? Well, we’ve been sweet-talking BT into reducing the up-front and monthly cost of its 52Mb Infinity 1 fibre broadband, and not only has it relented, it has done so exclusively through Cable.co.uk.

So you can search high, you can search low, but you won’t find this Infinity 1 fibre deal for this price anywhere else. Here it is…

  • BT Unlimited Infinity + Calls

    BT
    • Pay nothing today
    • Weekend calls
    • UK's best Wi-Fi router
Offer ends 28th September, Free £120 BT Reward Card & Half price connection worth £25
    £31 .99
£34.99 set-up cost includes line rental See Deal

So is it any good?

Well, yes. But even with our exclusive discount it’s not the cheapest fibre deal in the UK right now. No, what this is is a cheapER version of a high-quality, or non-budget package.

The cheaper fibre deals that exist from First Utility, Plusnet and Vodafone are all around the £25 per month mark. However, they fall short of what's offered in a few key ways.

For starters, this BT Infinity 1 deal is a full 14Mbps faster than those offered by the others. That may mean little to you if you're a minimal internet user in a small household – if that's the case, you probably don't even need fibre. However, if your household is packed with streamers, browsers and downloaders, those 14 extra megabits are going to come in handy.

Also, unlike the First Utility, Vodafone and Plusnet deals, you're going to be getting one of, if not THE most capable router being offered in the UK right now in the form of the BT Smart Hub. This router will truly show its mettle in households where traditionally there are corners that a router signal struggles to reach.

Lastly, but by no means leastly, you'll also get a £100 BT reward card thrown in, and in terms of straightforward cashback rewards that's pretty much unmatched right now.

Don't take too long to um and ah, though. This deal ends in just one week (7 September), at which point it will disappear from the face of the Earth.
