Are there any TalkTalk customer discounts available?
TalkTalk has been known to offer exclusive deals, add-ons and upgrades to existing customers in the past. Any current discounts will be detailed at the top of this page.
Can I add TV to my existing TalkTalk package?
Yes, if you want to add one of TalkTalk’s TV packages to your current broadband and phone service, you can do so online. You can get up to 131 channels with TalkTalk TV and you’ll find deals on the packages available at the top of this page.
Can I get a YouView box?
You’ll need to meet some minimum requirements to get a YouView box. It needs to connect to both a TV aerial to receive Freeview channels (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 etc.) and to the internet to get on demand services (iPlayer, All 4, 5 On Demand etc.) and premium subscription channels.
You’ll need at least 3Mbps broadband
Your broadband internet speed needs to be at least 3Mbps to get YouView and at least 5Mbps if you plan to get a TalkTalk TV Boost such as the Entertainment Extra, Sky Sports or Sky Cinema boosts.

How do I add Sky Sports to my TalkTalk TV package?
Sky Sports channels on TalkTalk TV are streamed live over the internet to the YouView set-top box. If you want to add them to your TV package, you will need a minimum broadband speed of 5Mbps.

How do I add TalkTalk TV Boosts?
You’ll need a broadband speed of at least 5Mbps to add a boost to your TalkTalk TV package. If your connection is up to speed, you can subscribe either online or over the phone.
TalkTalk TV Boosts are all available on rolling monthly subscriptions, giving you the flexibility to add and remove them from your main TV plan as and when you want.
Can I upgrade to TalkTalk fibre broadband?

Upgrade to Fibre 35
TalkTalk’s entry fibre package offers a download speed averaging 37Mbps, which should suit most family households and anyone who goes online often. TalkTalk will give you an estimate of your actual speed before you upgrade.
Upgrade to Fibre 65
The next level of fibre broadband from TalkTalk offers a download speed averaging 67Mbps, which should satisfy the larger, more demanding household. Will TalkTalk upgrade my router?
If you upgrade to fibre broadband you’ll receive the Super Router, TalkTalk’s top of the range model. Operating on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies, the Super Router can support multiple, high-speed wireless connections and is optimised to work with TalkTalk’s YouView TV service.
How can I upgrade my TalkTalk phone package?
TalkTalk phone add-ons (boosts) are offered on a month-by-month basis, so you can add and remove them as needed at any time by going online and applying them in ‘My Account’ or by calling customer services.

You can add numerous calling options to your existing TalkTalk landline, be it 24/7 inclusive calls, calls to mobiles or calls abroad. Additional call features are also available, including call diverting, call waiting and three-way calling.
What will happen to my current contract if I upgrade?
When you upgrade your TalkTalk services, your old contract is withdrawn and replaced with a new one. For example, if you sign up for an 18-month broadband and phone package and decide to add TalkTalk TV six months later, the remaining 12 months of your current contract would be disregarded and you would begin a fresh 18-month contract for your new broadband, phone and TV bundle.
