How much is line rental?

You can save on the annual cost of line rental by paying 12 months upfront at £164. This equates to a saving of £39.88 over the year.
What’s the Virgin Media traffic management policy?
Virgin’s traffic management policy applies to uploads only – downloads are unaffected. This is unlikely to affect the majority of users, but if you regularly publish files online (e.g. videos) you may wish to examine the policy further before signing up.
Virgin Media throttling
The policy applies between the hours of 4pm and 11pm on weekdays and 11am and 11pm on weekends.
Each package has an upload threshold per hour, which if exceeded will result in your upload speed being reduced by at least 50% for the ensuing 60 minute period.
The initial upload thresholds are as follows:
- 50Mb fibre: 1000MB per hour
- 100Mb fibre: 1250MB per hour
- 152Mb fibre: 2250MB per hour
