EE is kicking off 2019 with some big data offers on its SIM-only plans and is even giving away a £100 Amazon gift card with one of them. You have until Tuesday 29 January to take advantage.
The biggest SIM-only plan currently being offered by EE gives you 60GB of data for £30 a month. This deal also comes with a free £100 Amazon gift card.
Claiming the gift card is easy. You'll be sent a text within five days of buying your SIM plan, directing you to a website where you need to enter your mobile number and a special PIN. Complete the form within 28 days of purchase and you'll be sent the gift card via email.
Also in EE's January sale is a plan offering 40GB for £25 a month and one offering 25GB for £20 a month. Neither comes with a free Amazon voucher but, like the 60GB plan, they do have the extras EE is famous for.
All of these plans also include free Apple Music for six months and free BT Sport either for 12 or three months – it's actually the extra benefits rather than the price that makes EE's SIM deals stand out from the crowd.
An Apple Music subscription allows you to stream or download more than 40 million songs and what’s more, EE will allow you to stream as much as you want over its 4G network without using up your data allowance – reassuring, even if you've already got 20GB or 30GB to play with.
If you decide that after six months you can’t live without Apple Music in your life, it’ll cost you £9.99 a month to continue with your subscription.
The BT Sport app allows you to watch Premier League and FA Cup football, not to mention BT’s exclusive coverage of the Champions League and Europa League, on your phone and tablet.
The app will need to be istalled on your phone or tablet but it comes with free casting so you can watch it on your TV. After your three months are up, you’ll still be able to access the app but will be charged £5 a month for just the app or £10 a month for castng as well.
If you decide you’d rather not continue with the service, there’s no minimum term contract so you can cancel whenever you like.
They're not in the sale but EE does have a couple of other packages with rather more modest data allowances, so there should be something for everyone even if EE's smaller plans aren't exactly the cheapest on the market. These include 3GB for £17 a month and 1GB for £14.
