Amazon Prime Original Bosch season 4 to launch in April 2018

Friday, February 23rd 2018 by Oprah Flash

When the thirteenth falls on a Friday it’s an unlucky day for some. Not for Bosch fans though, as the fourth season premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Friday 13 April. We can also confirm that season five is in the pipeline.

“Everybody counts or nobody counts”, that’s the mantra that the tenacious LAPD homicide detective, Harry Bosch, lives by. Based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling crime novels, the show follows Bosch, as he pulls out all the stops to get justice for murder victims.

After solving the murder of a 13-year-old boy in season one, foiling corruption within the police department in season two and dealing with a murder a bit closer to home in season three, we’re eager to see what’s in store for Bosch in April.

So far we know an attorney is murdered the night before he is due to appear in court representing a civil rights trial. With the tense social climate surrounding killings at the hand of the police, Harry Bosch is tasked with solving the crime before the city breaks out in a riot.

Bosch (Titus Welliver) is forced to investigate his own department to get to the bottom of the murder and reconcile his past to find a justice that has long eluded him.

Welliver is joined on screen by Jamie Hector as Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino as Lieutenant Grace Billets and Lance Reddick as Deputy Chief Irvin Irving.

The Emmy-nominated show is Amazon Prime Video’s longest running one-hour series and has caused quite a stir among viewers, with one describing it as, “first class in every way”. There are 10 episodes in each season and the first, second and third are available now to binge-watch while you wait.

30-Day free binge

Bosch is exclusive to Amazon Prime Video, so if you like the sound of it and want to binge the first three seasons before the release of the fourth in April, you can test it out with a free 30-day trial.
