Ash Vs Evil Dead season 3 premieres in February, exclusive to Virgin Media TV
If you’re a fan of Ash vs Evil Dead you may be psyched to hear it’s returning to our screens in February, exclusively to Virgin Media Full House bundle customers.
Next month will see the start of season three which Bruce Campbell, who plays Ash, has described as a “game changer”.
The STARZ Original series can now only be watched in the UK with Virgin Media Box Sets. To get this you’ll need at least a Full House bundle. The series is broken up into 10 half-hour episodes.
The show tells the story of Ash Williams, a chainsaw-wielding brute, and his haphazard quest to save the world from evil. This season, Ash turns from a murderous urban legend to a hometown hero. Along the way we get to meet Ash’s long lost daughter who, whether she likes it or not, is now in Ash’s custody.
Playing the role of the token ‘bad guy’ is Lucy Lawless as Ruby. You may also recognise Ray Santiago (Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell. Both form a group of Ash’s ass-kicking sidekicks.
When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. But evil will learn to never get in between a papa bear and his cub.
For newcomers to Ash Vs Evil Dead, it’s the follow-up to the classic horror film, The Evil Dead, so expect a gory version of Ghostbusters with a hint of hilarity and wholesome adult silliness. You’ll bust a gut laughing while watching it, but there’s a lot of blood and scary monsters, so best to wait ‘til the kids have gone to bed.
It used to be available on Netflix but now you can catch it in Virgin TV Box Sets which is included in the Full House bundle.
This package gives you both premium TV features along with superfast internet. Let’s start with the broadband. The VIVID 100 aspect of this deal means you’ll have access to fibre broadband with download speeds up to 100Mbps and unlimited usage. This is ultra fast and will suit most medium to large households.
Right, now it’s time for the TV bit. You can watch more than 230 channels including all the BT Sports channels, Nat Geo Wild in HD and the Disney Channels. The TV V6 box is small but mighty and lets you pause, rewind and record your favourite shows and movies.
On top of all this you can use the TV V6 Box to stream Netflix if you have a subscription. You can also access Virgin TV Box Sets which is where you’ll find Ash vs Evil Dead.
All this will cost you £55 a month throughout a 12-month contract plus a one-off £20 activation fee that will appear on your first bill. At the end of the first year the monthly charge goes up to £70 a month.
