BT is offering up to £150 in reward cards with fibre broadband deals

Friday, November 10th 2017 by Phil Wilkinson-Jones

It’s Friday, and that means there’s a whole load of shiny new BT broadband deals for you to sink your teeth into.

There’s a £150 reward card on offer if you sign up to BT’s top fibre broadband package, while a basic fibre deal – with or without TV – will net you £125 if you sign up by Thursday 16 November.

Remember that BT won’t send you the reward card automatically, nor will it remind you to do so. Once your broadband is up and running it’s up to you to make that claim yourself.

All of these packages come with 18-month contracts and although BT announced a broadband price hike earlier this week, this shouldn’t affect you if you’re still in the offer period of a contract when the increase takes affect in January.

To get BT’s top reward card you’ll need to go for it’s top fibre broadband package – Unlimited Infinity 2 with weekend calls . This gives you speeds up to 76Mbps for £39.99 a month, as well as a £50 connection fee and £9.99 router delivery charge.

Unlimited Infinity 1 with weekend calls, which offers speeds up to 52Mbps, comes with a £125 reward card and costs £10 less a month than Infinity 2, with the same additional charges.

The total first-year cost for Infinity 2 is £389.87 compared to £294.87 for Infinity 1 (assuming you remember to claim your reward card), so you’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s worth paying an extra £95 over the year for an additional 24Mbps of speed.

Reward cards of £125 are also available if you bundle Infinity 1 up with one of BT’s three TV packages and weekend calls of course.

If you opt for TV and broadband you’ll be charged a £60 connection fee and £9.99 for router delivery no matter which TV package you choose.

Infinity 1 with the Starter package and BT Sport gives you 20 premium channels and up to 80 free-to-air channels including 21 in HD. It’s currently £33.49 a month.

The Entertainment pack, which gives you 29 premium channels and access to the BT TV app, is £39.99 a month with Unlimited Infinity 1 and weekend calls.

BT’s top TV package – Max – gives you 60 premium channels, nine kids channels and the option of watching in Ultra HD . This is £49.99 a month with Unlimited Infinity 1 and weekend calls.
