BT to launch new website for broadband customers
A new version of BT.com is set to launch this June.
BT is set to launch a new website for its UK broadband customers, featuring news, email access and search functionality along with billing and account information.
The new version of BT.com will go live in June and will introduce a single login for subscribers. BT hopes this move will make it easier for users to access a wide range of account-related services, from email and My BT to BT Cloud and BT Wi-fi.
As well as desktop PCs, the new site has been designed to run smoothly on smartphones and tablets, as an increasing number of BT customers now log on from these mobile devices.
Visitors to BT.com will be able to access online help and support facilities, check their email account and online bill and view service updates, as well as view editorial, picture and video content across numerous genres, including news, entertainment and lifestyle.
BT Sport, which is due to launch this summer, will add an array of exclusively live sporting action, further bolstering the content available via the site.
Nick Wong, director of online at BT Retail Consumer, said: "The new BT.com website is part of BT's commitment to help our customers get even more value out of the time they spend online."
