BT offers £100 Amazon or iTunes voucher on some of its mobile deals
BT is giving away Amazon and iTunes gift cards worth up to £100 with selected mobile deals until Thursday 16 November.
To get a £100 gift card (you’ll be able to choose between Amazon and iTunes when you claim it) you’ll need to sign up to a pay monthly mobile deal this week on BT Mobile’s top tariff.
Grandly titled ‘The Ultimate Plan’, this gives you 15GB of data to do internet stuff, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts, and the price varies depending on which phone you want.
For example, the iPhone 8 on The Ultimate Plan is £62 a month plus £50 upfront, while the iPhone X will – unsurprisingly – cost a little more at £70 a month and £100 upfront.
BT’s ‘The Perfect All Rounder Plan’ gives you 6GB of data with unlimited calls and texts, and until Thursday bags you a £70 gift card. The Essential Plan includes 3GB of data with unlimited calls and texts, and with this you qualify for a £50 gift card.
The cheapest tariff BT offers, 'The Great Value Starter Plan', isn’t included in this deal, but for the sake of completeness it gives you 500MB of data, 400 minutes and unlimited texts.
BT is also offering extra data on selected plans, but only on certain handsets, so the amount of extras you get really does vary quite a bit depending on the phone you’re looking at and the amount of data you need.
Let’s look at the Samsung Galaxy S8, for instance. Take this phone on The Ultimate Plan by Thursday and you can get double the data as well as a £100 gift card – that’s 30GB plus unlimited texts and calls for £57 a month and £20 upfront.
On Perfect All Rounder you currently get 8GB instead of 6GB and on the Essential plan the offer is 4GB for the price of 3GB. Extra data offers are also available on phones including the iPhone 7, Pixel 2, Nokia 3 and Sony Xperia L1 Black.
Another thing to remember is that with The Perfect All Rounder Plan and The Ultimate Plan, you also get access to BT Sport to watch on your mobile. When we say mobile, we mean mobile as you won't be able to watch on a larger screen such as a laptop or use Chromecast to watch it on the telly, but hey, it's free BT Sport so don't complain. If you want to watch on bigger screens you can always just subscribe.
