Double data deals on iPhone and Samsung handsets from BT Mobile
Ooh, just look at all that lovely data: BT's offering double the usual amount with a bunch of iPhone and Samsung phones, including the latest flagship models. All the deals come with free BT Sport.
First up is the Galaxy 9, due to launch in a couple of weeks' time, with its 12Mp camera with motion detect and super slo-mo and a 5.8-inch WQHD+ Super AMOLED screen. Here, BT's offering 6GB of data with unlimited minutes and texts for £47 a month on a 24-month contract plus £250 upfront.
Meanwhile, 12GB of data can be had for just £52 a month with a £150 up-front fee - although you can do a little better with an offer from Three, by paying just £2 a month more but cutting the upfront cost to only £79.
Move on up to the Galaxy S9+, and you'll get built-in stereo speakers and a slightly larger screen - and with BT's double data offer, 6GB for £55 a month, plus an initial £350. Another fiver a month ups this to 12GB data and knocks £100 off the up-front cost.
Samsung Galaxy S8 with 12GB
The Galaxy S8 is a little cheaper, with a 6GB deal now costing £42 a month and 12GB priced at £47; up-front costs are low at £50 and £20 respectively.
The old workhorse S7 now comes with 6GB for £30 a month, £50 up-front, or 12GB for £35 and a one-off £20; and the Galaxy J3 is a positively bargain basement option, at £17 a month for 6GB and £22 a month for 12GB, both with zero to pay up front.
Maybe, though, you're a staunch Apple fan; and here there are just as good deals to be had.
You can now get the flagship iPhone X, for example, with enough cheap data to really make the most of it. The phone has an edge-to-edge screen with a 5.8-inch Super Retina HD display with HDR and True Tone.
It's claimed to have the most durable glass ever in an iPhone, and comes with 12MP dual cameras with dual optical image stabilisation for great low-light photos.
With the double data deal, you get 6GB for £55 a month and £250 to pay up front; 12GB costs a tenner more but knocks £100 off the up-front fee. They're excellent deals compared with the competition: at O2, for example, 10GB costs £72 a month for a two-year deal, with an up-front cost of £100.
You'll pay less, of course, for the iPhone 7, with which 6GB costs £35 a month and 12GB ten quid more; up-front costs are £50 and £20 respectively. And the 6S will set you back £30 a month plus a one-off £50 for 6GB of data, or £35 plus £20 for 12GB.
And there's a real bargain basement option in the form of the iPhone SE: £22 a month plus £20 up front for 6GB of data, or £27 plus £20 for 12MB. You'll struggle to find this quantity of data for a lower price elsewhere.
