EE adds more data to its pay as you go mobile packs

Tuesday, September 5th 2017 by Phil Wilkinson-Jones

EE has added more data, minutes and texts to a number of its pay as you go mobile packs.

The changes affect EE’s ‘Everything’ and ‘Data’ mobile packs priced at £10 and above, all of which come with unlimited texts.

Pay as you go customers paying £10 can choose between an Everything Pack, which comes with 1GB of data and 250 minutes, and a Data Pack with 2GB of data and 100 minutes.

Similarly, £15 gets you either an Everything Pack with 2GB of data and 1,000 minutes or a Data Pack with 5GB and 500 minutes.

The £20 Everything Pack comes with 4GB of data and 1,500 minutes, £25 gets you 8GB and 2,000 minutes, and for £30 you get 16GB and 3,000 minutes.

EE pay as you go customers buying a £10 pack or above each month also get free data boosts.

These grow your allowance by 500MB every three months – the longer you stay with EE, the more data you get.

Yesterday, Cable.co.uk reported on the launch of EE’s new 4G home router, which offers speeds up to 90Mbps over a wi-fi connection.

The 4GEE Home Router, which can connect up to 32 devices to EE’s 4G network, is available for £129.99 on pay as you go and on a range of pay monthly tariffs.

Tesco Mobile has launched what it is calling its best value SIM-only mobile deal.

Until 24 September, Tesco is offering customers 250 minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB of data on a 12-month contract for £6 a month.

For £9 a month, you can get 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and 2GB of data. £12.50 a month gets you 3,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and 6GB of data.

Tesco’s biggest SIM-only deal gives you 5,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and 12GB of data for £18 a month.

Tesco Mobile customers with more than one account on the same bill also benefit from Family Perks, which gives you money off bills, extra data and Clubcard points.
