EE offers up to £125 cashback with fibre broadband deals

Friday, December 1st 2017 by Phil Wilkinson-Jones

Sign up to EE broadband in the next week and you’ll earn yourself up to £125 cashback – a double saving, really, as you also won’t have to pay a set-up fee.

But before we get into the nitty gritty let’s just be clear that this cashback, which takes the form of a prepaid Mastercard, won’t be landing on your doorstep this side of Christmas. Once your broadband is up and running and you’ve made a bill payment, EE will email you with instructions on how to claim your reward, so it’ll be more of a New Year bonus.

In order to qualify for the full £125 cashback you’ll have to take EE’s top broadband package – EE Unlimited Fibre Max Broadband with anytime calls – for £45 a month by Thursday 7 December.

This package offers speeds up to 76Mbps and the ‘Max’ part means you also get a bunch of calling features including 1,500 minutes of calls to UK mobiles, inclusive calls to UK landlines, call diversion, anonymous call rejection and something called “three-way calling”.

The next package down – Unlimited Fibre Plus – also gives you speeds up to 76Mbps and comes with a £100 reward card. It will cost you £33 a month if you order by 7 December, or £41 if you want to add EE TV, which gives you more than 70 Freeview channels including 11 in HD and “loads” of on demand entertainment.

EE’s up to 38Mbps Unlimited Fibre Broadband deal is £29 a month and comes with £75 cashback. Adding EE TV takes the price up to £37 a month and you still get the £75 reward.

Right at the other end of EE’s offering is its standard unlimited broadband package, which right now gives you speeds up to 17Mbps for £21.50 a month as well as £50 cashback. To add EE TV to this package makes it £33 a month and still gets you the £50.

All EE packages currently include a 5GB data boost if you have an EE pay monthly mobile plan, a nice little bonus for existing mobile customers as it’s worth £12.99 a month. The savings you can currently make on upfront fees are also not to be sniffed at, as EE’s fibre deals usually cost £35 to get set up and standard broadband a more modest £10.
