Free cashback and tablet with Huawei Mate 10 Pro deals from Three
Free is everyone’s favourite word and if it’s not then it should be, as Three is giving away free money and a free tablet with it’s Huawei Mate 10 Pro pay-monthly deals.
When you sign up to a new Huawei Mate 10 Pro deal through Three before Sunday 4 March, you get £100 cashback and free Huawei MediaPad T3 7-inch.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro, is Huawei’s current flagship phone and is still a newbie on the market, having only been released a few months ago (November 2017). Its launch didn’t cause anywhere near the same sensation as the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, but it is a premium phone and carries some tech that puts it in the same arena as its more popular rivals.
It’s packing a large 6-inch screen, a dual 20MP and 12MP rear camera and a whopping 128GB of internal storage. The Al-driven Kirin processor means you’ll have quite a nippy phone in your hands that will speedily load up and switch between apps with ease. It runs on Android 8.0 combined with Huawei’s own operating system, EMUI 8.0.
To claim your cashback you’ll have to wait 14 days after you’ve bought the phone then go straight to Huawei’s website to fill out a claim form.
The Huawei MediaPad T3 has a 7-inch screen and 16GB storage capacity making it a good little device for streaming Netflix, playing games or reading your favourite books. It’s available to all new and upgrading customers.
Deals from £31 a month or £699.99 pay as you go
Depending on how much cash you're willing to part with upfront, you can get a relatively cheap pay-monthly deal from Three.
For Three’s Essential Plan with 1GB of data and all-you-can-eat texts and minutes, you can pay £79 upfront then £31 a month throughout the rest of your 24-month contract.
Not bowled over by the amount of data? Yeah, neither are we as the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a high-quality phone so you’ll need more data to make the most of it.
Three has very generous data offerings. A 12GB Advanced Plan will cost you £43 a month with £49 to pay upfront, while a 30GB tariff costs £47 a month with the same upfront fee.
Not enough? Unless you plan on streaming endless videos and playlists on your phone, you’ll be hard pressed to use this all up. One of the good things about Three, is that it lets you use your data as a Personal Hotspot when you sign up to an Advanced Plan. This means you can connect your tablet or laptop to the internet through your data allowance, ideal if you travel a lot or don’t have broadband at home.
In this case the bigger plans may come in handy. A whopping 100GB of data with all-you-can-eat texts and calls is £51 a month after paying £49 upfront. For a fiver more you can get an all-you-can-eat data Advanced Plan.
Yes, this does seem pricey but if you compare it to the deals that are on offer for rival handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S8 or iPhone 8, you’ll find it’s quite good value for money. The same 100GB tariff for the Samsung Galaxy S8 costs £59 a month with a £79 upfront cost on Three, and the iPhone 8 is £65 a month and £79 upfront.
If you’re not strapped for cash and want to buy it outright, you can choose the pay as you go option for £699.99 with a minimum top up of £10. With this option each MB of data will cost you 1p, a text is 2p and a call is charged at 3p minute.
If this is the option you’re thinking of going for you could buy the phone then get a data heavy SIM-only deal. Three is selling a SIM-only plan with 30GB of data for £20 a month.
As an incentive to get you to become a Three customer, the provider is giving away free data specifically to use for streaming Netflix, TVPlayer, Deezer, SoundCloud and Apple Music. This is all included in the Go Binge feature which is incorporated into the pay-monthly Advanced Plans.
You can also use your tariff abroad in 71 countries across the world without incurring any extra fees.
