Free cinema tickets with Vodafone pay as you go deals

Thursday, December 14th 2017 by Oprah Flash

With winter in full force and Christmas just a few days away we’re in the midst of cuffing season and Vodafone has got date night sorted with its free cinema ticket offer.

When you buy a mobile or SIM on pay as you go with a minimum £20 Big Value Bundle or Top-Up, you get two free cinema tickets for you and your lucky person of choice to use at either ODEON or Vue.

The offer lasts up until Thursday 21 December and there are a range of phones to choose from on pay as you go, including the iPhone 7 or something a bit cheaper like the Samsung Galaxy J3.

Once you’ve chosen your phone or SIM deal and go ahead with the purchase you’ll receive a text three days after you’re all set-up. The text from Vodafone will contain a code and a link to website where you can register for your tickets.

You’ll then have a two-week window in which to register for the tickets otherwise you’ll miss out.

If you don’t want your date to know you’ve used a free voucher you can use it to book your cinema tickets online and they’ll be none the wiser. Otherwise you can show the voucher at the box office when you arrive at the cinema.

You can check out Vodafone’s website to find out the full terms and conditions.

What do you get on pay as you go?

This is the time of year that we start to think about our withering finances and how to be more sensible in the New Year. A pay as you go deal can be a good way of keeping your monthly spend in check and if you choose a 30-day rolling plan, you can opt out at the end of the month if you need to.

A £20 Big Value Bundle lasts 30 days and will give you 6GB of data, 200 minutes and unlimited texts to use.

The £30 Big Value Bundle gives you more than three times the amount of data with 20GB, 3,000 minutes and unlimited texts.

Vodafone has introduced a Total Rollover feature which will allow you to roll any data minutes or texts that you don’t use onto the the next month’s allowance.

iPhone 7

The iPhone 7 is £549 on pay as you go

To get your hands on an iPhone this Christmas, Vodafone is selling the Apple iPhone 7 (32GB) on pay as you go for £549.

The phone is only just over a year old and comes with a 12MP camera on the back and 7MP FaceTime camera on the front. It’s A10 Fusion Chip means you’ll have quite a powerful phone in your hands that is quick and easy to use and allows you switch between apps and functions with ease.

This is the phone that Apple first decided to drop the headphone jack for. The reason behind this was supposedly to reduce space and make the design more streamline. In line with this you’ll get EarPods with Lightning Connector in the box which connects wirelessly to the handset through Bluetooth.

You also get a 24-month warranty with all Apple devices through the provider, so for the first two years Vodafone will look after hardware or software faults that you come across.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017)

The Samsung Galaxy J3
