Gamer's delight: Razer Phone with 100GB of data for £30 a month

Tuesday, March 13th 2018 by Oprah Flash

Managed to avoid the hype of the iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9? The two flagship phones have monopolised most of the mobile advertising campaigns so you could be forgiven for missing a few of the underdogs.

One of which is the Razer Phone and Buymobiles.net has a deal on the mobile offering 100GB of data for £30 a month.

The Razer Phone was launched at the end of 2017 and was pitched to gamers and entertainment focused users. It’s the first device from Razer’s mobile division and boasts a 5.72-inch Quad HD display, Dolby Atmos speakers and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with a massive 8GB of RAM for a powerful performance when gaming.

It runs on Android Nougat with an upgrade to Android Oreo planned for this Spring. Internally there is 64GB of storage which is big enough, but you can boost this up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card.

To take pictures there is a dual rear 12MP camera and 8MP at the front for selfies. Retailing at £699.99 the Razer Phone is exclusive to Three and is resold by buymobiles.net.

Phone for gamers

The phone perfect for gamers is currently available on a 100GB data tariff for £30 a month over a 24-month contract. There is no upfront cost. Along with a stonking amount of data, you also get all-you-can-eat minutes and texts to use each month.

This tariff is being sold as an Advanced Plan so you get some of the extra benefits that Three gives away. This includes letting you use 30GB as a personal hotspot, global roaming in 71 countries and Go Binge.

Go Binge lets you stream from Netflix, TV Player, Apple Music, Soundcloud and Deezer without ever dipping into your data allowance.

A bit unsure about such a unfamiliar brand? Don’t let this put you off as you’re getting a good bargain with this deal.

Buymobiles.net has been a retailer of mobile phones for more than 20 years and work with all the major mobile service providers such as Three, EE and Vodafone as well as mobile manufacturers.

If you go straight to the horse's mouth and buy directly from Three, you’ll have to pay £46 a month with £49 upfront for the same 100GB tariff.

Three does have a triple data offer on at the moment so you can get 12GB for the price of 4GB. This Advanced Plan will cost you £38 a month with £49 to pay upfront which is still more expensive than buymobiles.net’s offer.
