Get a free Jimbag gym bag with selected Fitbits from O2
According to a recent survey, most of us give up on our New Year's resolutions as early as January 12 - so you've probably given up already.
But if you're still holding out hopes of getting really fit this year, there's now a little added incentive. Until 7 February, shoppers buying one of a range of Fitbits from O2 can get a gym bag thrown in for free.
The offer applies to three models - the cheapest Fitbit Flex 2, which costs £69.99, isn't included, so it's not a deal you'll want to take up on a whim.
But if you're pretty certain you're going to keep your fitness regime up, you could plump for the Fitbit Alta HR, which costs £129.99. This allows you to record your exercise, track your heart rate and monitor your sleeping patterns.
And for those considering something like an Ironman challenge - and let's face it, why not think big - it can keep going for up to seven days between charges.
The deal also applies to the Fitbit Charge 2, which has the same £129.99 price tag. Fitbit's biggest selling fitness tracker, it's claimed to help you understand and improve your fitness level, check your heart rate and get notifications to your wrist. And if all this exercise is a bit too stressful, it also helps you relax with guided breathing sessions.
Choice of eight different Jimbags
At the top of the range, the Fitbit Blaze monitors all the performance stats you could wish for, and comes with a full colour touchscreen display. It provides a series of built-in workout routines right on your wrist, with step-by-step instructions that coach you through each move. You can even use Connected GPS to map your routes and see running stats. It costs £159.99.
If all this is getting you raring to go, you'll need to order your Fitbit by 7 February to get your free bag. You'll then be given a voucher that's valid until the 21st - although you'll have to pay £3 for the bag to be posted.
There's a choice of eight different Jimbag barrel or duffel bags available, up to a value of £39.99, all with a durable design and an inner pocket for valuables.
The Alta HR costs £129.99 from Fitbit itself - the same price as from O2 - with the Blaze also the same price at £159.99. The Charge 2 costs a tenner more from Fitbit direct than it does if you get it from O2.
However, there are other places where all three Fitbits can be found for less - Argos, for example, has the Blaze for a tenner less, with the Charge 2 HR just £109.99.
The O2 deals, then, could be worth taking up if you really do want a new gym bag and think the Jimbag ones are worth the forty quid price tag.
And at least you'll still have the bag long after you've lost interest in the Fitbit altogether and subsided back onto the sofa. Or is that just us...?
