BT offers up to £175 cashback with exclusive Black Friday broadband deals

Friday, November 17th 2017 by Phil Wilkinson-Jones

BT is offering up to £175 cashback as part of a Black Friday broadband deal exclusive to Cable.co.uk.

The telecoms giant is also offering 18 months free BT Sport to anyone signing up to a broadband deal between Friday 17 and Monday 27 November.

Celebrating the biggest shopping day of the year a week early, BT has cut the cost of its standard broadband by £3 and is not charging set-up fees on this nor on any of its fibre packages.

The long and short of it is that Unlimited Broadband, which gives you speeds up to 17Mbps, is £23.99 a month plus a £9.99 router delivery cost. This comes with a £50 reward card and if you go through Cable.co.uk you’ll also get £50 cashback in the (kinda retro) form of a cheque in the post.

BT’s 52Mbps fibre package – BT Infinity 1 – is currently £29.99 a month, with no set-up fees apart from £9.99 for the router (a saving of £50) and from now until the other side of Black Friday comes with a £100 reward card. Again, going through Cable.co.uk will bank you an extra £50 cashback.

For the biggest reward you’ve got to go for the biggest broadband package. BT Infinity 2 gives you download speeds up to 76Mbps, upload speeds up to 19Mbps and at the moment costs £39.99 a month, plus £9.99 for the router but with no other set-up fees.

For the duration of BT’s Black Friday offers, this comes with a £125 reward card and yes, you’ve guessed it, doing this via Cable.co.uk gets you that sweet £50 cashback taking your total rewards to £175.

Don't forget - BT won’t send you the reward card automatically, nor will it remind you to do so. Once your broadband is up and running it’s up to you to make that claim yourself. If you buy through Cable.co.uk, it's also up to you to remember to claim your £50 cashback from BT.

Watch the Ashes for free with BT Sport

All of these BT broadband deals also come with free BT Sport for the entire length of the 18-month contract, just in time for you to watch England take on Australia in the upcoming Ashes series and see the rest of this season’s (and next season’s) Champions League matches.

If you’re looking for TV, you can get currently BT’s Starter package with Infinity 1 for the same monthly price as the fibre broadband on its own, the only thing you’ll pay extra is a £50 set-up fee. There’s still that £9.99 router delivery charge to pay as well.

Starter gives you 80 free-to-air channels and 20 premium channels, and like Infinity 1 on its own will net you a £100 gift card and £50 cashback with Cable.co.uk.

Entertainment with Infinity 1 is £39.99 a month and Max with Infinity 1 is £44.99. There is no set-up fee to pay on either of them and both will get you the £100 reward card and also the £50 cashback.

With Entertainment you get 29 premium channels and access to the BT TV app. Max gives you 60 premium channels and the option of watching in Ultra HD if your telly is posh enough.

Capped fibre broadband for £24.99 a month

BT is offering Infinity Lite – a capped version of its standard fibre broadband package – for a lowest ever standard price of £24.99 a month with no activation fee, although you will still have to pay £9.99 for the delivery of the router.

This deal also comes with free BT Sport for the length of the 18-month contract, which is a nice bonus as BT has traditionally only given away three months’ worth of its sports service for free.

If you value BT Sport at £5 a month then this deal works out as one of the cheapest ways to get fibre. The only drawback is that cap. Using data over and above the 30GB limit will incur a charge of £1.80 for every extra GB you get through.

Anyone taking out a contract for BT Infinity will also be offered a £5 monthly discount on BT Mobile deals, including a 4GB SIM-only deal for £10 a month rather than the usual £15. 6GB data plans are also half price on a range of smartphones.

There are also savings to be had on BT’s Whole Home wi-fi twin pack – a set of two discs that connect wirelessly to your router and switch your connection to the fastest wi-fi signal as you move between rooms. The twin pack is £99.99 until 27 November – down £50 from the usual £149.99.
