You can get two months of NOW TV for the price of one this Black Friday

Friday, November 24th 2017 by Phil Wilkinson-Jones

It’s Black Friday and you’re probably looking for some bargains so let’s get on with it – NOW TV is offering two months for the price of one on its Sky Cinema, Entertainment, Kids and Sky Sports passes.

This deal is available over the Black Friday weekend and throughout next week until 30 November, and you can also save more than 50% on the cost of a year’s worth of NOW TV if two months just isn’t going to be enough.

There are also deals on NOW TV boxes, so if you don't already have one you may want to take advantage and bundle one in with a month or two of your pick of the Sky Cinema, Entertainment or Kids passes.

Christmas premieres

The Sky Cinema pass gives you access to more than 1,000 movies on demand as well as a new premiere everyday. Over Christmas those premieres actually include some of 2017's big box offices successes so you if you haven’t seen The Lego Batman Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 or the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast yet, there’s your incentive right there.

Films already streaming on NOW TV include Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them and Moana.

For the next week, the Sky Cinema pass is £9.99 for two months or £55 for a whole year, the latter deal representing a saving of £60 over 12 months.

You can also get a month of Sky Cinema and the NOW TV Box for £12.50 or two months of Sky Cinema with the NOW TV Smart Box for £19.99 (worth £63.96). The difference between the boxes is that the Smart Box lets you pause and rewind live TV, and gives you the option to watch in HD.

Catch up on box sets

The NOW TV Entertainment pass is currently £7.99 for two months or £45 for 12 months. A year’s worth would normally cost you £95 so again these are decent savings we’re talking about.

You can also get two months of Entertainment with the NOW TV Box for £12.50 rather than the usual £30.97 or three months with the NOW TV Smart Box for £19.99, a saving of nearly £40.

In the Entertainment pass you get 11 premium TV channels you won’t find on Freeview including Sky One, Sky Atlantic, FOX, Comedy Central and the Discovery Channel, as well as access to more than 250 box sets available on demand.

This pass is perfect if you’re desperate to catch up with Sky exclusives and originals like Riviera, Tin Star and Sick Note, comedies including Broad City on Comedy Central and cult favourite The Walking Dead on FOX.

If it’s something to keep the little ones occupied that you’re looking for, you’d be better off with the NOW TV Kids pass, which is currently £2.99 for two months or £15 for the year, a saving of £20 over 12 months. There's also the option to get three months of the Kids pass and a NOW TV Box for £12.50.

This gives you six live channels that aren’t on Freeview – Boomerang, Cartoonito, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr and NickToons – as well as more than 1,000 shows available on demand.

Sky Sports options

It may be that you’d prefer to spend the festive season watching the best sport Sky has to offer. If so, a Sky Sports pass is £33.99 for two months. Or you can get a year’s worth of Sky Sports for £199, saving you more than £200.

Coming up there’s some big games in the Premier League including Liverpool v Everton and Man Utd v Man City on 10 December, Messi and Ronaldo face off in El Classico on 23 December and Sky will also have all the World Championship Darts action live from Ally Pally.

If you fancy watching a particular match or a week of the darts, there’s also the option to buy a Sky Sports day pass for £6.99 or a week pass for £10.99.

The beauty of NOW TV is that by going for a month (or two-month in this case) pass it means you’re not tied in to a long contract. But if you’re still unsure you can still get a free 14-day trial of the Sky Cinema, Entertainment or Kids passes, although by the time the trial ends it will be too late to grab a Black Friday bargain.
