Olaf's Frozen Adventure will premiere on Christmas Day on Sky Cinema
Frozen fans are in for a treat this Christmas as a new short film – Olaf’s Frozen Adventure – will be shown on Sky Cinema in a TV exclusive.
The mini-movie will premiere on Christmas Day with the first showing at 6am, perfect if your little darlings have already been up for two hours by then and you’d really like them to sit still for 20 minutes.
It will also be showing at 8.05am, when you’re likely to be a bit less bleary-eyed, again at 12.30pm and at 7.30pm.
If your little ones are too busy playing with whatever Father Christmas has brought on the big day, have no fear – there will be other chances to watch Olaf and co on Boxing Day and again on the day after that.
Olaf’s Frozen Adventure follows the snowman who likes warm hugs as he searches for a Christmas tradition to bring back for Anna and Elsa. The Disney short only had a limited run in cinemas last month so if you missed out, now’s your chance to catch up.
Sky Cinema group director Ian Lewis said: “We are pleased to bring Olaf’s Frozen Adventure into homes for the first time on Sky Cinema this Christmas.
“We are committed to showing the very best content on our service and we know Frozen is a family favourite and that our customers will enjoy having Olaf back on their screens as part of our extensive Christmas line-up.”
Get a free 14-day trial of NOW TV
In order to watch Olaf’s Frozen Adventure – and full-length Disney favourites Moana, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast – you’ll need either a subscription to Sky Cinema or a NOW TV Sky Cinema pass.
As long as you time it right, you should be able to watch all the premieres you like for free by signing up to a 14-day trial with NOW TV then cancelling before you’re charged for your first month. Alternatively, you could actually pay for the service – it’s £9.99 a month and there’s no minimum contract term.
If you’re already a Sky TV customer, you may find it easier just to add Sky Cinema to your telly package. This costs £10 a month and you’ll enter into a new 18-month contract no matter how long is left on your existing TV deal.
If you’re going down the free trial route, it may be helpful to know that Beauty and the Beast will be shown every day between 25 and 31 December, while the pop-up channel Sky Cinema Musicals will run from Saturday 23 December to Monday 2 January.
Sky Cinema Christmas has already started and also runs until 2 January, while Sky Cinema Classics will be available between Monday 11 and Friday 22 December.
