OnePlus 5T mobile deals from O2 come with free Xbox goodies
Are you looking for a new phone and like free stuff? Do you like gaming? If you answered yes on both counts then O2 has a deal with your name on it.
The OnePlus 5T is exclusively sold in the UK by O2 and to sweeten the deal there is a free PlayerUnknown's Battleground game on offer plus a three month Xbox Gold Live membership.
The deal ends on Wednesday 21 March. PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is a multiplayer online battle royale game. You’ll have a heart-racing fight to be the last player left alive. On your mission you’ll loot supplies, find weapons and gear-up to fight your rivals.
After you’ve completed your purchase of the OnePlus 5T, you’ve got to wait 12 days before you can login online and make your claim. There is a brief window, as you have to do it before 60 days have passed.
You’ll then receive a code to activate your three-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold. The PlayerUnknown’s Battleground game will be sent to you in the post.
The OnePlus 5T is a flagship phone with hi-tech features perfect for gaming on the go. With an RRP of £499 it’s almost half the price of an iPhone X so is a cheaper way of getting a hold of a phone with a powerful camera, facial recognition and a 6-inch screen.
The camera has a dual lens with 16MP and 20MP for crisp clear pictures and a sizable 64GB of internal storage.
Running on Android, the OnePlus 5T provides a smooth experience when playing games with the help of its 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor.
Free game and 4x data
To get your game on you’ve got a month to sign up to get the Xbox One game and three months’ free access to Xbox Live. The offer ends at midnight on Wednesday 21 March.
The OnePlus 5T is exclusive O2 so if you like the look of this phone you’ll have to go through O2.
O2 has a quadruple data offer on at the moment so it’s easier to get your hands on a decent amount of data from the provider. On the cheaper end of the tariffs you can get 4GB for £38 a month and a one-off upfront £9.99 cost.
For 12GB of data it’s £3 a month more at £41 a month and £45 a month will give you 20GB of data to use each month. You’ll have to spend just under a tenner (£9.99) upfront with both plans. At the more expensive end of the tariffs is the 40GB plan at £49 a month with £9.99 upfront. Just like all the other packages mentioned it comes with unlimited calls and texts.
You may also want to consider the Razer Phone exclusive to Three. It is also made with the gamer in mind with 8GB RAM, 5.72 IGZO Ultramotion display and Dolby ATMOS tuned speakers.
Three currently has an offer in its 12GB Advanced Plan and has knocked the price down to £30 a month with £49 upfront for 12GB of data and all-you-can-eat calls and texts.
