Samsung offers free concert tickets with Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 deals

Thursday, February 15th 2018 by Mike Whitehead

For all you revellers and ravers out there who are dreaming of those hazy summer days, Samsung have an offer that’s right up your street.

When the days are short and wet, the nights long and cold it can feel like a lifetime before we’ll see the green leaves on the trees and the summer sun punch through the skies. Admittedly, the summer sun may only last for a few sporadic days but that doesn’t put off all you fun-loving, sweet-music seeking concertgoers from swinging your thing across fields, parks and beaches throughout the land.

To get you all into the mood, global electronics giant Samsung is offering a pair of festival tickets up to the value of £140 with any purchase of the Galaxy Tab S3 up until midnight on 18 February. Armed with your new piece of kit you can enjoy events across the UK with line-ups including Katy Perry, Little Mix, Chas & Dave at the Royal Albert Hall and Simple Minds & The Pretenders.

With a huge list of events to choose from, starting from as early as next month, and over 80,000 tickets available you really are spoilt for choice. There’s the Summer Nights festival in Glasgow featuring Bryan Adams and Van Morrison, the Castle Concerts in Edinburgh featuring Bananarama and Del Amitri or if you fancy planning a longer trip you can get tickets for the Rock En Seine festival in Paris.

Unfortunately, the big one – Glastonbury – is not available as part of this offer.

Tab S3 from £18.99 a month on O2

In addition to Samsung’s online shop and Experience Store, other retailers taking part in this offer include Amazon UK, Carphone Warehouse, O2, EE, Virgin Mobile, Giff Gaff, John Lewis and Curry’s PC World. Vodafone are not participating in this offer.

The tickets are available on a first come first served basis for UK residents and businesses only. You need to have made your purchase by 18 February and register the Tab S3 on the Samsung Members App, clicking on the ‘Ticket Offer’ tab, by 25 February. Once validated you’ll receive a unique ticket code, which must be used before 4 March. The tickets are not allowed to be re-sold and you have a maximum of one claim per product item.

With a HDR-ready 9.7 inch screen, four powerful speakers and an upgraded S-pen stylus included, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is regarded as the best Android tablet to date. Feature-packed and enveloped in glass, the Tab S3 is seen as a worthy competitor to the iPad Pro. Prices will vary slightly across retailers from around £514 via Amazon up to £599 from Curry’s PC World.

Curry’s also offers the Galaxy Tab S3 as part of its ‘Your Plan’ finance package where you can pay within six months completely interest-free or spread the payments over a period and monthly payment to suit your budget.

If you’re looking to combine the cost of a Galaxy Tab S3 with a data package, O2 has some attractive packages available. Its recommended tariff offers 5GB of data and 100 texts per month for an £18.99 upfront cost and £37 a month over 24 months.

If you’re hungry for more data there’s a 20GB option for the same upfront cost and text allowance for £45 a month, again over 24 months. Both these offers include £100 off the full price of the device and are available until 21 February.

If you’d prefer to pay for the device in full from the offset, it's available for £570.99 with a 5GB data package for £14 a month and 20GB for £22 a month. All these offers come with free O2 wifi where available.

If you’re interested in this offer but not necessarily in the market for a tablet, it is also available on purchases of the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and the Note8.
