Save £120 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 in Vodafone's Big Winter Sale
There’s just one day left until the trial month is over, so we can all officially start our ‘New Year, New Me’ mantras.
If the new you wants to get their hands on a new deal, it’s worth noting that Vodafone’s Winter Sale is drawing to a close and you stand to make a saving of £120 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 pay-monthly deal.
As the clock strikes 12 tomorrow night (31 January), the deal will disappear and you’ll miss out on snaffling up 15GB for £16 with your new Android tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016, 10.1) is simple and straightforward to use, so it’s a good choice if this is your first time buying a tablet. The whole family will feel comfortable using it, even your technophobe nan.
Like most of Samsung’s devices this tablet runs on Android’s operating system. This means you’ll get easy to navigate functionality with access to hundreds of thousands of apps on the Google Play Store. You can use it for a wide range of tasks from working on a document or creating a presentation to playing games and streaming Amazon Prime Video.
The device has a 10.1-inch screen and comes with 32GB of internal storage, and a 8MP rear camera. It has wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as a SIM-card port for you to use connect to the internet through 4G when you’re using it on the go.
15GB of data for £16 a month
There is an app purposely designed to keep kids safe while they’re using the device. It’s called Kids Mode 4.0 and keeps the little ones entertained with games, a kids' camera and 3D characters. You have control over the app and can set limits on how long they play and what they view.
If you sign up before midnight tomorrow (31 January) you’ll pay £16 a month for 15GB of data throughout the course of a 24-month contract. After the winter sale is over, the price will go up by a fiver to £21 a month.
Outside of the sale, £16 a month usually gets you 5GB of data to use with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016 10.1). This plan also spans a 24-month contract.
If you think you’re going to need more data to download huge files or stream Netflix when you’re out and about Vodafone has a 30GB tariff for the tablet that will cost you £26 a month.
With all the pay-monthly deals we have mentioned here, there is no upfront fee to pay. You can use your tablet abroad in 50 countries around the EU without incurring any extra charges. If you’re travelling a bit further afield you can use your data in 60 further countries for £6 extra a day.
