Save up to £120 on a tablet deal with EE

If you promised to treat yourself with a new tablet for 2018, EE has some great offers for existing customers that could tempt you over the line

When Apple launched the iPad way back in 2010, it was felt that the future was definitely tablet-shaped. Such a simple shape, so flexible and light. A glut of tablet-apps followed and just when we thought such a piece of technology couldn’t be bettered, the Galaxy Tab came along closely followed by the iPad Mini.

The subsequent development of the mobile phone, basically mimicking everything a tablet can do but with the added bonus of fitting in your pocket, has curtailed the tablet’s rise in popularity but there’s still a big place for them in our daily lives and there’s no doubt we still want to buy them as a useful addition to our everyday handsets.

10% discount every month

EE currently has a range of offers to tempt you across a range of different tablet products. If you’re an existing EE customer with a current monthly plan you can save 10% on your monthly payments. Starting with the standard iPad model with 32GB storage, over a 24-month contract you would pay £40.50 a month, reduced from £45.00 a month, which represents a saving of £108 over the term.

In addition you only pay an upfront cost of £49.99, reduced from £99.99. Offered via EE’s Essential Plan you also get 2GB of data each month with download speeds up to 60Mbps and inclusive EU data roaming if you plan on taking your device on your travels.

If you’d prefer a higher spec model there’s the 10.5-inch iPad Pro with 64GB of storage available for £45.00 a month, reduced from £50.00 a month and an upfront cost of £149.99, reduced from £199.99. This represents a £120 saving on the monthly costs over the 24-month term.

The 12.9-inch version of the Pro is also available for the same monthly cost of £45.00 but with a higher upfront cost of £249.99, reduced from £299.99. Again, this gives you an overall monthly saving across the term of £120.

For those of you who aren’t part of the Apple fan club, you can get a Samsung Galaxy Tab A (10.1 inch) with 32GB storage for only £22.50 a month, reduced from £25.00, and no upfront cost giving a total saving of £60 from the usual monthly amount and £49.99 from the upfront cost.

There’s also a Huawei T3 8-inch available for only £14.40 a month, again with no upfront fee saving you £38.40 overall on your monthly payments. Both these tablets also come with the same data package as the iPads.

If you’re a sports fan you can get a Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus with an EE Max Plan, which includes BT Sports and 20GB of monthly data for £27.90 a month, reduced from £31.00 a month, and no upfront cost.

There’s some great savings here if you’re an existing customer. However, if you cancel your original monthly plan these savings will be removed.
